About the Exhibition

Our church, the Ethioipian Orthodox Church in The Netherlands, have had more than 15 years of church services but we were not in tune to critically discuss our church affairs. Nevertheless, our Holly Fathers have stated, “even though we are latter than yesterday, we are ahead of tomorrow”. Based on this strong and spiritual advice, we have now been able to organize, discuss and move forward for the purpose of church services based on the blue print rule of the Holly Synod of The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church, which really gave us energy and bright hope to address the bootle neck of the church here in Holland.

Thanks be to God, the Parish Council of the Ethioipian Othodox Tewahido Church in the Netherlands has presented a Grand Exhibition on the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in the Hague city of The Netherlands on 23 and 24 October 2004.

Objective

Our Fathers and Ancestors received the rule of God for his kingdom and accumulated immense spiritual wealth. In keeping and preserving all its heritages, the Church had been constantly challenged both from internal and external forces. Thanks to our Holly Fathers who paid their lives, we have inherited the original words of God and the immense wealth of the church. The Grand Exhibition aimed at introducing the spiritual wealth and history of the Church to all interested individuals who had no opportunity to see and experience how we live in.
